- Objective of Department –
- To Promote mechanization in agriculture
- To popularize the Agricultural Machinery / implements among the farmers
- To meet out the shortage of agricultural laborers and to bridge the gap between the farm labors and Agricultural activities
- To ensure timeliness in carrying out farm operations
- To make irrigation and other farm operations efficient and easier, land leveling and land shaping are taken up in farmers lands and thereby to increase more area under cultivation and to increase food production.
